Your questions, answered.

Anything else? Message us on WhatsApp.

When do you deliver?

We deliver cakes and desserts early, from 6am to 7am, so the celebrant sees the cake first thing and the driver beats Lagos traffic. Please give us the name and number of someone who can meet the driver. If you prefer the afternoon, we deliver on or before 4pm.

Can I order for today?

Yes, for our express cakes and many treats. Order before 11am. Same-day cakes go out as soon as they are ready, so we cannot promise an exact time, but we keep you updated.

Where do you deliver?

Almost everywhere in Lagos. You see the delivery price for your area at checkout. Cakes travel by car; treats and smaller orders by bike. You can also pick up free from our Ikeja studio.

How do I pay?

By card through Paystack, which confirms your order at once, or by bank transfer. If you choose bank transfer, please pay within one hour or the booking is cancelled.

Are prices inclusive of VAT?

Yes. All our prices include 7.5% VAT.

What if something is wrong with my order?

Tell us as soon as your cake arrives. Every order is baked especially for you, so we do not give refunds, but depending on the problem we may replace the order at no cost.

How should I store my cake?

Tall dessert cakes and cream cakes must be kept in the fridge. Fruit cakes keep for a long time and taste better with age; each comes with storage instructions. Our fruit cakes are NAFDAC approved.

About us

Dainty Affairs Bakery

Cakes and desserts from our studio in Ikeja for 15+ years.

Dainty Affairs Bakery is celebrated across Lagos for world-class desserts, cake designs and incredible customer service. We spread joy and sweetness everywhere.

Our founder, Lolade Ogunjimi, fell in love with the splendour of colour at 16 and baked her first splattered cake in her mother's kitchen. After secondary school her mother enrolled her in baking classes, and she became the family baker.

She studied English at the University of Lagos, baking for friends along the way, then spent five years at Virgin Atlantic Airways. In March 2008 she walked away from the airline and into her dream.
