Wedding Cakes and Tastings:
Due to the high-quality of our ingredients, we do not offer free tastings. You can order a Taste-Pack and we will deliver to you. *Delivery cost applies.
You can also schedule a one-on-one consultation if you choose to discuss design or simply send us a picture of a design you would like if you haven’t selected from any of our online designs.
Please note that the amount you paid for your Taste-pack will be deducted from your final bill if you book your wedding cake with us.
How long in advance do I need to order my Wedding cake:
We serve on a first come, first serve basis. We are limited in the amount of orders we accept as quality and finishing is important to us so adequate preparation is required. 2 to 4 months is very reasonable. Any order within a month to the wedding is regarded as a “Rush- order” and if we can accommodate it. It will be priced higher.
We reserve the right to cancel a booking and reject any order for any reason, such as: non-payment, poor communication, unreasonable demands, etc.
Wedding Cake Rush Order:
If your are booking your wedding cake within 1month, payment will be due in full at time of booking.
Wedding Cake Deliveries:
There is a flat fee for delivery and setup that will be included in your Quote/Invoice. This price is based on your venue location.
Wedding cake Deliveries outside Lagos:
Wedding cakes can be delivered safely to any location in Nigeria. Based on the specific location, an additional price is given to cover this cost. We arrive at this location a day before the event. Our fee will include accommodation and feeding of the accompanying Driver and Dainty Affairs staff who will set up the cake at the venue of the reception.
Wedding cake Table:
We will require a sturdy table at the venue, especially for cakes that are from 5 tiers upwards. The Table is to be decorated by your events decorator and not by Dainty Affairs Bakery.
Wedding cake knife and champagne flute:
Brides are encouraged to supply their own Wedding cake knife and flutes as we’ve had ours stolen from the venue a couple of times.
We require a 70% deposit of the total cake price.
Once your deposit is paid in full, your order is booked for the requested date. The entire deposit will go towards your order. Do note that this is a non-refundable deposit.
The entire balance will be due one month prior to delivery.
Wedding Cut- up cake:
These are the bite-sized cake usually cut into mini cake boxes or wrapped in clear cellophane wraps placed and on the tables or given to guests during the wedding reception.
This is charged separately from the main Wedding cake.
We provide each 100 pieces at N15,000 for regular Vanilla cake, and N25000 for Light fruit cake and N35,000 for the Rich fruit cake..
We prepare the packaging based on what you give to us and bring it to the venue of the reception.
If you will like to include this into your order, we require this paid along with the balance of the wedding cake with the container or cellophane wrap provided at least 3weeks before the wedding.
All payments will be made into the account number provided on your invoice. Do note that a 5% VAT and Delivery and setup fee will be included into your overall Wedding cake cost. These figures are shown clearly in the invoice you will receive.
Due to the nature of our work, we start preparing your fondant decorations and purchasing materials for your custom order weeks or months in advance. Since the colors and designs are custom made to match your event, we cannot use them for future orders, so cancellations will not be allowed.
We try our best to accommodate late change requests but it is not always possible. We may be able to add something to your designs but will not be able to change color schemes or themes with late notice.
